Brainboxes design and manufacture all of our products in-house which allows us to offer a lifetime warranty on our products and give long-term supply and support. The serviceable lifetime of a product is the period in which components are available. We often source certain key components beyond their official Manufacturer’s obsolescence date and extend the lifetime of our products. There are several obsolete parts used on this product but we have an opportunity to source components enabling a final production run for these products.

Brainboxes have supplied Multiport Serial cards over several decades and they are used and relied upon across many industry sectors. To give clarity to customers, we are announcing an End of Life (EOL) of these Brainboxes Multiport Serial Cards sold through Brainboxes and Distribution Channels.

These products are not recommended for new designs, please work with your Brainboxes Account Manager and Distribution Partner to ensure your future requirements are met and transition to alternative solutions where possible. Where a transition is not possible, please notify your Brainboxes  Account Manager to arrange a last-time-buy purchase. To ensure your last-time purchase orders are fulfilled on time, present your final product demand in the form of a non-cancellable, non-returnable (NCNR) purchase order as soon as possible and no later than the “Final Purchase Order Date” listed in the EOL Information Table. Supply of EOL products is usually limited. Fulfilment of final purchase orders is subject to product availability and will be prioritized according to the date when orders are placed.
